Hi Parker,
ReplyDeleteGreat resources and thank you for sharing. I just finish reading the "Child outcome standards in Pre-K programs: What are standards; what is needed to make them work?". What a great article. I love the fact that people are realizing that age makes a difference in children. You cannot always expect children to know what to do and when to do it. Also the article is very understanding to the childhood realtionships and interaction as well and how it affect child's learning ability. I enjoyed it and I plan to share it with my staff at work. Thanks again and enjoy the week!
Parker, thank you for sharing all these informative resources. I enjoyed reading the article on the importance of Mathematics instruction in Preschool. I agree that reducing pressure and "observe children and intervene when necessary" is a key to this accomplishment. Also, thank you for recommending the Second Step curriculum website. It is a great resource!
